"The Daughters of Nora Crawford," the latest novel by Anne Lebrecht as Reviewed by Caryn Bruer. Anne Lebrecht is the author of several published novels. Her latest effort carries the reader along with three young girls who are orphaned at an early age when their mother commits suicide. They live in foster homes, waiting for a father to come in search of them. When that doesn't happen, they are separated by the adoption of Sylvia, the eldest. The author chronicles Sylvia's search to relocate her sisters, and find their father after she is adopted by loving parents and finds herself in a privileged set of circumstances. The two other girls are not as fortunate, and the author shows us what they face and deal with in less than ideal circumstances, but also their journey to finding love and happiness. A great read.
